For the last week now my vision hasnt been normal, it always feels like my eyes don't want to focus. like I have to make an effort to focus on something because my eyes want to drift off to the distance. Then what I'm looking at goes to double-vision. It's very strange.

In addition to that I've had a lot of eye floaters. And in low light I see some weird ghost effects from light sources when I look side to side.

I keep reading that eye problems are a sign of MS. particularly double-vision or focus problems and visual disturbance. It's from the optic nerve flairing up. So I keep thinking what if I have MS?

Am I being crazy about this?

Sammie, I have had the exact same thing going on with me! It coincided with the numbness in my limbs that I would feel at night. Since I got adjusted twice by my chiropractor, they have gone away! I thought I had MS too by those symptoms. Apparently it was a pinched nerve causing it. I think you'd be surprised what that can do.

Another thing to remember is the heat of summer, and if you could be suffering from allergies. I get "googly" eyes when the grass gets cut and such like that. Or you could even be needing to up your water and liquid intake. Dehydration can make your eyes goof up and make you lightheaded or dizzy. Just another angle to consider.

You may just need glasses or a new perscription, that happened to me recently and when I noticed it I started to worry and focus harder on what I was seeing. When you're focusing like that you're likely noticing your floaters more. I went through a bad period of worrying about my eyes a few years ago and saw all sorts of crazy things. Luckily my eye doctor is extremely reassuring. And thankfully when my fears were gone so to were my floaters. Though now I wear glasses all the time.

Hi, I just wanted to check in and say that this problem focusing my eyes lasted for awhile. For over a month. But recently I thought about it and realize it had gone away. Very glad about that. Maybe it was actually from stress.
