@mms - No, they keep you there as long as it takes for them to be convinced that you won't actually do it. I was once hospitalized, just for threatening it, not attempting it. (And honestly, I had no real plans to, at the time. I was just royally pissed off.) Two weeks inpatient, two weeks outpatient. Which is the same amount of time, as when I made an actual attempt. Funny how that worked out... |
