| I was on standard antidepressants for a few months, didn't give me weight gain directly, but it gave me a major sweet tooth (as well as few other strange symptoms)! I started always craving cookies and sweets and that kind of stuff. That made me gain some fat :\ After I realized I was slowwwwly rounding up, I quit them on my own and combined with stress of school am back to my original weight. I didn't talk to my shrink about quitting because he told me before being fat is better than being miserable all the time. But I think being skinny and miserable is better than being fat and miserable. Hope the info is helpful | |

| Oh yeah, and this was Zoloft. Someone said you're supposed to lose weight from it? I think it's different for everyone, some make people fat and some make skinny. It also caused major nausea and dizziness for me for awhile. Different people react differently so don't assume you'll have the same side effects as someone though! | |
