Naji-does your stepfather notice your cuts? Does your mum not want to get treatment for her illness because she would be hospitalised for a long period and therefore leave you on your own with your stepfather? Does your best friend know about your situation? Sorry for all the questions x |

Naji-- First off, I want to say that I am sooo incredibly sorry to hear what you are going through. I was molested from the age of 4 to the age of 10 and I cut now as well, so I have a good idea of what you're experiencing right now. No one has the right to touch you in a way that makes you feel uncomfortable. That IS sexual abuse, and your stepfather needs help. What he is doing to you is causing you to inflict harm on yourself and no one deserves that pain. As for you-- listen to your friend. Joining this forum is a good step but making connections in real life will probably be even more helpful. Talk to someone, sweetie. You don't have to put up w/ what your stepfather is doing to you. I understand cutting. It makes you feel something when you are dead inside, but it will never let you fully live. Seeing a counselor is a great idea, and removing yourself from the abusive environment is even more important. Take care of yourself and let me know if you need someone to talk to. |

Good advice Golden Eyes.... Naji You said even if you were older he would still be doing this to and if you were older it would still be wrong. Honey you need to go seek help....you're a gift to this world and no one and mean no one has the right to do this to you! I notice a lot of people gave some advice please take into consideration! Mystepfather hasn't noticed my cuts. Im really good at hiding them. My mom doesn't want to admit she has it, it's a hereditary disease. My friend only knows I cut cause of sexual abuse. |

Hey... I don't know what to say but I know that you need to leave. Can you work and move out? You first have to save up enough for the first rent + security deposit most times. Perhaps move in with a relative/friend if that's too much. Take the initiative! You need to be someplace safe. Simultaneously, you need good help... people who can direct your pain away... Hope it stops... |
