| my boyfriend hasnt been talking to me much in the past two weeks. he says he's just been really busy and i knew he was so i tried to convince myself that was why. deep down i had that nagging feeling that part of the reason was just that he didn't really feel like talking to me bc if he did he'd make time for me somehow. he always had an excuse for not calling but he did call me or the first time in a week on thursday. we only talked for 10 minutes but itd better then nothing. we were having short convorsations on AIM pretty much every day though but not until before he went to bed because he said he'd been doing work all day. except now its the weekend and i know he only had one class on friday so i know he has to have time... at least 5 mintes to call be he hasnt been on aim, hasnt called... i called him a few times last night and he didnt answer. i just left him a voice mail asking him to call an hour ago and he hasnt gotton back to me. ive been feeling very insecure lately because he's been so busy be he's assured me that he loves me but just had a lot of work to do but now that he's free he's still not talking to me so i'm really scared =( why would he say he loves me but not return my phone calls? this is a long distance relationship so it depends on communcation... =( so why isnt he talking to me? he said he wanted to spent a lot of time friday resting after his busy week but really =( it's not been over 48 hours since we talked and i really dont think that he couldn't spare 5 minutes to talk to me... =( what's going on? am i freaking out over nothing or do i have reason to be worried? please help. i'm really really scared... i can't imagine my life without him.... how can i change this? hes going to leave me i just have this awful feeling he says he loves me but idk... i'm freaking out so bad... =( i need him to make it okay but he wont i dont know what to do... i cant lose him i really cant. i'll have a complete mental break down i pratically already am because of the past two days of not returning phone calls... this is a bad sign there's been lots of bad signs... why would he say he lvoes me though? why does he say it and then act like this... why doesnt he ever seem to have time? why doesnt he seem that excited about seeing me? could he just be stressed or is this about me? does he not want to be with me anymore? thats that i think and its more painfil than i can handle | |

i think it could be one of 2 things, either he is not very attentive & forgetting or he is saying these things so as not to hurt you. when i have been in relationships i can be bad for disappearing for days, i just need my space. its best not to put too much strain on the relationship through needing the other person to fulfill you, if you can be content on your own you are more ready for a relationship, if you are relying on the other person to much they may feel pressured to stay which can have the opposite effect & push them away. I hope you manage to resolve this & please dont stress yourself out when you dont know the situation fully yet. worrying never solves anything. |

| Alright, well, I have a friend who lives in a different country and I am completely dependent on him. I talk to him every day (his net is down now, so we haven’t spoken in like three days, but that’s ok, because I get it). Once, we were talking and he told me that he thinks that my cutting myself will be the end of our friendship. I, of course, freaked out, but he ended up smoothing it over and it was fine. Then, we didn’t talk for about 60 hours. I called him, I texted him, I messaged him on facebook. I did all I could think of, but he just didn’t reply. I felt just like you do, but I thought that was his way of ending it. I was so depressed, especially since I love this guy. He ended up getting on and he had a completely legit reason, he was really sick and couldn’t move a muscle. Maybe your boyfriend has a similar thing going. | |

| I'm afraid my view is completley different to those above. I don't think this guy is a very nice person. He's pleasing himself and not considering one bit how you feel. The trouble is, he knows he can get away with it, so it continues. Why not try acting cool. Don't call, don't leave messages and though it may take a few days or even a week or two, it'll suddenly dawn on him that perhaps he's played his game once too often and that he isn't getting away with it anymore and (if he loves you) he'll be falling over himself to try and put things right. This tactic isn't easy so you'll have to be VERY STRONG. If he doesn't get in touch, then you'll have your answer. At the end of the day, do you 'really' want to spend your life with someone who messes about with your emotions? | |

| Wow. That is terrible advice. What if when he sees that she not talking to him, he decides to go out with some other chick? What if he takes it as a sign that she doesn’t like him anymore? I tried that out with my boyfriend, and trust me, it does not work. | |
