i told nana coz i have serious issues with my mum and she's the only one i can talk t about it comfortably. she took me to the doctor( when she had a trainee guy sitting in on all her sessions) and wouldn't shut up about how stupid it was and how much i scared her and how it would devestate my lil' bros if i died, so i said tht was kinda why i told her in the first place. comfortable relationship... over i still cut sometimes tho. |

My mom saw it only once. "What happened to your wrist?" "What?" "Look at your wrist..." "Oh, that. I cut it when we were making dinner." "Honey, you need to be more careful." I was 9 then. I am 12 now. Sometimes I avoid the situation before it occurs. After a fresh cut, maybe I'll go outside, make a big scene tripping, or cimbing a tree and falling out, and come in holding my wrist. Or maybe I'll start playing with the cat, and say "Ow. Stupid cat!" and walk away. If it comes up later, just remind them. "Remember when I fell from the tree?" ... "Remember when the cat scratched me?" It makes life so much easier, not having to worry about it. Sincerely yours, Jenna |

I'm too cowardly to cut so I scraped myself with a ruler. My little sis saw and smiled, saying she wanted to try. She scraped herself even worse. My mum saw her injury and asked what happened. She said it was a burn. My mum didn't even look at mine or notice it. Thank goodness, but I guess I'm such an attention-craving idiot that I kind of wish she did. Next time I have to cut if I want to cut because I deserve it. Or I should just go kill my horrible self. Look what I did to my sister. |
