I know a lot of girls that do it for emotnal resons, but guys that do it for " fun" as they pit it, that I don't understand. Gay guys seem to do it more, and with girls it seems to be bi or lessbians ... Wired xxx |

| well, being a lesbian cutter i will tell you why i do it. i don't cry practically ever. i don't like people seeing the vulnerable side of me so i've learned to repress my emotions. and cutting is a perfect way to let out my frustrations, and my pain without actually crying. sometimes i just feel like i'm going to explode whether its sadness, anger, jealousy etc. and i cut. all over my legs. i always wear pants so no one figures it out and because i can repress my feelings so well i go back to being my (somewhat) happy self. i've become a master at faking my happiness and no one is the wiser. i know i don't do it because its the "fashionable" thing to do because if anyone ever found out i'd be mortified. like, me and my girlfriend of 2 years just broke up and i had curbed my cutting for a long time because i didn't want to have to explain myself to anyone. although cutting keeps me sane because slowly but surely i have unravelled over the past few years. i'm gonna say i've been back to cutting for the past few months while me and my girlfriend were living in seperate houses but now that we have broken up its just immensely worse. i have never had to go to the hospital or anything (for the afformentioned fear of people finding out), but i draw quite a bit of blood. and my legs get all shaky. but i think its a good feeling kind of. like, its what sets me apart from everyone else i know. it makes me feel real. | |
