Haha, I think this one is my favorite. :P "What lurks in the shadows Is what is wrong with the world An evil without its like It is a devious herd They are everything but rational They think they are always right There are no grey zones To them it's either black or white They are a fleshly wound on Earth They bring with them catastrophy They say that they care But whatever they do is hypocrisy They may act all friendly At times they seem nice But the fact of life is That they are wolves in disguise How do we help it? This world they deovour There is no way Because they are the ones in power The sadest part is They are both you and me I wish there could be more Hope for humanity" |

| Wow Obsidian that poem says a lot. A very real perspective. To me it is the darker perspective, but it is filled with everyday earthly realities. | |

Yea, that one would go under the genre dark poetry. :P The creator is a long gone member of the cutter thread, thus the "haha" in the beginning of my last post. :D If you're out there RedBeauty, come and post more good poetry. :P |

Mahatma, i have risen Concerning stirs in my heart your eyes burning in my head hoping, wishing, screaming I've been visited by you before in the night's mid hour i hear your curious whisper I lay my head down and as i sink into the linen i continue to see those eyes But i lack understanding. a story is being said of which i cannot decipher And i wonder. Are these visions or hallucinations? the iris glows releasing its flowing implications and i feel... safe I plead for the map to my destination Searching in the sea of blue and sharp green And then i know you are me and i am you Mahatma, My subconcious My prophetess The Willow's Empress. |
