| I know this sounds lame but you people are so nice here, you're more real than my "real" "friends" to me, this is the first time I've found people who don't judge me and call me "stupid emo" just because of what I do. On every other forum I've posted, people think I'm just trolling, trying to get attention, cutting to be "cool", and they all responded to my pleas for help with sarcasm, immature jokes about emo grass, "go kill yourself then, good riddance" comments, etc. they always made me feel terrible and I'd always withdraw into myself and be worse. But here no one does that mean stuff, you're all so understanding and accepting to me and one another. I don't feel stupid or awkward here, I feel accepted. I guess the point of this is to say how much I appreciate your niceness. You don't know how much you've helped me. Thank you! | |

Hey that didn't sound lame at all. I tried to explain how i felt to IRL people (no-one professional) and no-one got what i meant, some even laughed. But i found these forums and thought "theres people who seem to be the same as me, and even explain it better!" And knowing that made me feel slightly better on its own. So i second this, apart from the first five words :) |

California here .. >.> but im not really American so its okay. I don't really have a country :D I would love to go to Australia.. the few aussies I met online told me great jokes and literally made me lol at the computer, and I don't do that a lot usually. I've never talked to people from UK :O do you have a british accent? no offense, although I don't know why that should be offending... |

hi u guys.. it feels warm to have u guys around. before this i thought i am just stupid to have done everything that i have done. but via reading all u guys' stories and getting advises from all, i feel more confident to get myself to move on with my life more cautiously rather than wallowing in guilt and sadness. btw, i am from malaysia. nice to know where u guys are from. fantasy, it's really cool for u to have started this "i think you are all so nice" thread. two thumbs up. |

| thats awesome elis:) hope everyone is having a nice Ramadan around you. i know what you mean fantasy about not having a country. we switched countries when i was young and i was confused about my roots for a long time. now i feel like a total kiwi, but i realise i talk too much and have too many emotions near the surface to be a typical one:) | |

kez, yeah I came to US when I was around 10, it sucks for me right now because when I speak English I have an Asian accent but I speak my native language with an american accent .. -.- I don't belong anywhere. Oh well I'll just be my own one-man country. It's still nice that you feel "totally kiwi".. xD I ate some kiwis before this and it made me laugh, no offense. you're a special kiwi :D And thanks for the thumbs up elisa.. just wanted to let you guys know how much you mean to me. :D |

| well, fantasy, i am asian too, going to migrate to canada soon. my son speaks english with asian accent too and he's going to 7 now. so i guess my son will resemble u..:) but, hey, it's real cute to speak english in a difrent accent. like in hollywood movies, usually there'll be italian or spanish accent speaking fellows and i find them real cute talking that way.. | |

| elisa: The main problem for me is not that I have an accent - I don't mind that - but that I cannot speak ANY language fluently. Makes me a little sad :( but thanks for what you said. What part of Asia are you from? | |
