| A lot of people here and in other online sites say that cutting is bad for you. But I have no reason to stop. It makes me feel good and it is the only thing that works when I need it. Scars? It doesn't even matter now because before I didn't know that it would leave scars, now my arms are covered with scars and there's no way I can get rid of them, might as well as cut some more. | |

| Because people percieve you differently, if they see your scars they'll 9/10 times brand you attention-seeker and whatnot. Though if you're like me and don't care for what they say, then nothing can stop you. I think it's bad cause you get hooked on it, though saying that is somewhat hypocritical of me. | |

| you are speaking my language although i dont cut in visible places so no one sees my scars unless i hike up my shorts but i know what u mean when u say that the damage is already done. I like to think of my scars as battle wounds they remind you of the wars youve fought with yourself | |

| It depends on why you cut. There's always the risk of serious infection or muscle damage or hitting an artery or something and killing yourself, but some people really don't care about those things. | |
