long sleeves, jackets, wrist bands, sweat bands, bandanas, watches, ect. also throw a bandaid on one every now and then. people are cut all the time so a bandaid is nowhere near suspicious.

so I cut myself every now and then because I used to do it when I was depressed and suicidal and I liked it. now, when I do it, I keep running out of reasons to tell myself why I should, and it makes me think i'm sick/crazy. lately my parents have been very disappointed in me bc of grades, and I hate coming home because it's just more crap since they can see grades online. I feel like they don't love me and I'm a disappointment to life. is that a good enough reason to cut? I also like doing it on my wrists, and now that it's winter I can cover it up easily. but should I do it somewhere else?

twiztidjuggalo- Sorry abput your Gf but there's always hope that you'll find somebody who understands you.
jazznunya-To hide cuts on your arms try wearing long sleeves or semi'long sleeves (it depends on wear you cut) or you could go with the phrase my dog/cat/bird/monkey/so did it. You could also try wearing arm links but people will wonder about that more than long sleeves.
KEEPH0lDiNG0N-It's okay I have a friend who's BoyFriend kept on doing that to her, if he really likes you then he will seek forgivness, if he doesn't then try to find someone worth your pain. (this is assuming I don't know what kind of person he is of course.)

Yeah I wrote way to much...

He was amazing and the reason he did it was bc of his dad but it still hurt pretty bad but i talk to him all the time and he always reminds me how much he loves me he just has two personalities && it's very hard to deal with

Actually it is a good reason if you feel lonely and you don't feel loved but actually they b---- about your grades bc they love you and they want to see you be something someday so when it all boils down to it it's actually not a good reason...

I'm new here but definately not new to the subject.
I'm 20, been cutting for 9 years and I like to try new methods. My most common toy is the blade from disposable razors. I'm a smoker so I often use cigarettes when I can't get to my blades. I used to get horribly agitated and depressed during school and would actually use pencil erasers to SI. If you rub the eraser over the same spot briskly while applying pressure, eventually you will start to bleed.. Not quite as painful as some methods, but it works in a pinch. I worked in a factory for a while and would sneak into the bathroom with my boxcutter, but I discovered the blades are not quite sharp enough to cut as deep as I would like. If you cannot find ANYTHING to cut with, punching a brick or cinderblock wall works.. If you hit it hard enough your knuckles may rip open and it is easy to explain away. If someone asks what happened all you have to say is "I was so pissed I punched a wall. It was either that or _______'s face." I have used safety pins. I "pierced" my arm with them but I got a lok of wierd looks and they kept catching on things until they eventually ripped out. There have been times when I was so desperate that I took the spring out of a clicky pen (wtf is the correct term for them?) and scratched my skin with it.
My favorite method of the moment (I bounce around quite a bit if you hadn't noticed lol) is oven cleaner. It doesn't yield any blood (least not til it scabs and I rip 'em off) but the pain is fantastic. and you can make designs, words, etc. I currently have a broken heart on my arm.. Spray it on and let it sit til you just can't take it anymore, then wash it off with soap and water.
Anyway, sorry for rambling, but you asked how I do it and I've had 9 years to practice.

I've tried like a billion different types of blades so if ya want to know how well one works before you waste your money on it just ask me.
You might think I'm a little weird, but I have this box I keep in my Jeep with all my SI "toys" in it. I have a few different blades from disposable razors (I'm trying to determine which brand is sharpest), Some boxcutter blades, blades for paint scrapers, matches, saftey pins, a pocket knife, and a sharpener. I also have rolls of gauze, medical tape, butterfly bandages, triple antibiotic (I never use it, but a freind gave it to me cuz she was concerned), rubbing alcohol, and armbands for covering up when I'm done. I also usually have a change of clothes just in case.

KEEPH0lDiNG0N: He seems like a nice guy and it's a good thing you're still friends. Alot of people have multiple personalties and that is not necessarly a bad thing. He must have a good side if you are his friend so try to look on the positive (sorry to sound so preppy, I suck at incouraging people.)

Scar removal creams can be bought at the pharmacy. Either ask somone who works there or look for one with vitamin E.

KEEPH0lDiNG0N : I am assuming everyone in the world has multiple personalities just some people have more than others. I probably have who knows how many sides.)
Sometimes people are attacted to other people for that very same reason and it can be a good thing. It's your life to live so be as crazy as you want to be.

When I cut myself, I use a razor. It helps get rid of the emptiness inside. Like there's something missing and cutting myself helps me get rid of it. And helps me control the pain that is going on, like when someone hurts me like emotionally or whatever, it's the only pain I can control. So it makes me feel like I can control what is going on. Well I think. But that's the way I cut myself
