	mh, atm i'm depressed because of unrequited love... i cut myself on my forearms, and my chest, with a utility knife with a retractable blade. i do it when people upset me... for example when he ignores me... or when my friend tells me that i'm selfish for feeling lonely and wanting attention, and i should just give up all hope and get into a loveless relationship like she did, because people like us never get what we want and we're not good enough, and we should just bear it and not show our sadness... we'll end up married to guys we don't know and don't love, and all our dreams and hopes will be gone... i'm a very romantic person, and i NEED love!! i need dreams! i need hope! and i can't go on like this! i don't like to think that other people have so much control over my emotions, so its my way of making myself believe that i am the only one who can hurt me, and that i am in control.

	Fantasy, have you notived that alot of people who first come to this forum post on this post first? I did my first visit. Do you relize how many people have probally been helped and found someone to discuss things with here. Thats a gift. You might already have a bigger support system than you relize. The next step is face 2 face support so you can continue to touch peoples lives. What do you think? I think that people identify with what you have to say and that you are an asset to this forum.

	fantasy, about my boyfriend and the cutting....I don't want to stop but the whole idea of it totally freaks him out. So in a way I wanna stop to keep him around. But that's a big struggle that is constantly on my mind. And when stuff like that is on my mind the way I cope with it is to cut, but I'm supposed to be fighting against the urges for him, but I want to do it still...ugghh its so frustrating and very difficult.

	fantasy, well...my boyfriend just broke up with because he can't handle the cutting-even when i'm not cutting. So, screw him, I'm going to cut.

	I use an xacto knife i started right above my knees then i moved to my forearms its much more invigorating however i dont like the unwanted attention my cuts and scars bring

	I just started cutting today. In Math class I was really depressed and I saw A pin I had so I just decided to cut. It felt great Like Im nervous but it feels good. Since i just started my cuts r only about 5-8cm idk how deep
