Yeah, those that think its a tread annoy me, but luckily i don't know many of them anymore. @mandiXD It kinda is ridiculous, but it's hard to stop. When i first did it, it worked and all, no idea why, but it calmed me. So i carried on, but my two friends noticed. Then i learnt that it eventually turns your friends away. I was too blind to see through my destructive actions i had turned what may have been the best things in each day away. This happened about two years ago, and made me stop for a while. That's just a little insight for you :P |

shaving razor, pocket knife and scissors i got help and haven't cut for almost a year i think. the problem is.. nothing in this life so far has made me feel like when i cut. i doubt anything will, and i don't think i'm ever going to become normal |

A switchblade for short deep (like gashes) cuts, and a razor for long deep cuts. I cut my forearm, but if I'm going overboard I cut my thigh or a slice to my palm always makes me feel great. I don't suggest cutting your hand (palm and fingertips) because it can easily be infected. I once cut a not so great four letter word starting with f in my arm, and it got pointed out by people often, so I put a bandaid on it, you can still see it |

| i like cutting myself then going in the shower and letting the soap run over the cuts the sting feels good and to be safe my cuts won't get infected i clean it with running alcohol. Its safe and feels good at the same time | |

1 to 3cm long, with a sharpener blade on my wrist. Not deep atall, just enough to get a small amount of blood, and small enough to be easy to conceal. I've only done it once, weeks ago, and stopped because of the ugly scars it would leave. Also if i could just say - I dont think creating this thread just to get ideas from other people on how to cut is particularly good.. If your a cutter, the only thing you should be asking about it is how to stop, its really not good. Theres also alot of room for nasty infections from unclean things such as scissors, knives and sharpener blades. (sharpener blades may have traces of lead on them, which is poisonous) I hope you all get what i mean, life isnt worth wasting, and the scars may be there forever. |

I used to cut about ten years ago. I would cut my forearms , thighs, hips, stomach, palms of my hands and at times ran out of spaces and would cut upper arms. I started with razors because I use to walk around and even fall asleep with them in my mouth. One day I felt suicidal and started cutting but the feeling calmed me down and I was addicted. I had scares everywhere only I would do alot to hide them from anyone. If I couldn't hide them I simply would stay in my room and avoid people till I would heal. I later found that I would get the best cut by broken mirrors shards. I was mad and destroyed a huge mirror and the shards were perfect. I would alcohol them clean and use them. I would also buy mirrors for a dollar and break them for cutting. I didn't cut for people to see them and have since learned other ways of self hurt. I can say one thing... I am lucky that to date I do not have any scares because I would heal them with cocoa butter. From time to time I may still cut my thigh or something but I make it so noone sees them |

| I use scissors mostly so i dont cut to deep.But it's hard to make a good cut with scissors and i dont have any blades around accept the blade people shave with...Hmm....Maybe il try using on of those,we'll see if i can get my hands on it XD | |

| What i used to cut was a shaving razor blade its pretty thin and works very well. I did it all over my right arm very thin, but when ppl started to see them i did it right under my wrist i wrote my pain so i wouldnt forget y i did it. three years later still there i rewrote on it over and over and i remember all the reasons y i did it. im not proud but i like the scars and all the pain it was easier to feel physical pain for all my emotional pain | |

I use a exacto knife and those eyebrow razors from the beauty supply. If I'm very emotional I tend to cut a lot of random 1 inch marks deep enough for me to bleed a lot. But if I am not extremely on the edge I'll still cut 1 inchers but I don't press down so hard that they bleed alot. (I usually only do this of I know I going the get dressed so they won't bleed through my jeans.) |

Anomonous you dont belong here if you have gone thru all the S*** we have then you might understand you judging prat i cut on my arms and the inside of my thighs && i use a razor its easy to get and easy to hide. |
