I know everyone on here has their story to tell, what makes mine any more important? nothing i just feel like i have to share with at least someone. Lately I've been so down and depressed from all sorts of random stresses. Its my first year of college and the day I had been wait for my whole life is finally here but I do not enjoy any of it. In high school i couldn't wait to party in college all i imagined was movies like road trip and animal house. When i finally got here i tried to join a fraternity and got a bid but for some reason i started to get major social anxiety. I thought i wasn't good enough and dropped it my grades are starting to go down and now i am begging to avoid confronting people, I'm starting to not eat or sleep. I feel like this problem is something bothering me from high school. I never had a girlfriend all of high school even though i hooked up with a few i felt like i was never good enough and the fraternity i was joining was a very social one. My hopes were to over come this problem but i failed. Im so confused i dont know where to go from here

Starting college is really hard. You are going through some big life changes, especially if yr living on yr own (or in a dorm etc) for the first time. Maybe you had expectations that you could just cast off your high school problems. Better to just try to accept yourself as you are. Fraternities are kind of weird/creepy anyway, aren't they? If you don't feel like you fit into one that may say more positive than negative things about you!

Hey hm I'm going call you 23 like the movie lol. Me and you around the same age I'm starting school in January. I don't think you should let what other people think stop from reaching your potenial. I did and I almost didn't graduate. If your worried about what others think see if you can prove it to yourself because NOone well think you can do anything if you don't even you can't I mean why should they.

PS. sorry if there are alot of run on sentences I have never been good with commas.
