Well... I feel an extreme anxiety being out in the open, or in front of a bunch of people.. Even just sitting in a desk at school when there are unfamiliar people around. I often feel or notice people looking at me, and it makes me feel anxious and nervous and fidgety. xp I feel like throwing up if I have to go up infront of a group of people. Also, I'm really bothered by the fact that people are always talking about me... Or maybe I just think they are.... I get paranoid sometimes... Also, if I don't have a friend with me, I just can NOT go up to and talk to a person I don't know. I end up getting extremely shy, and just try to avoid them. Also, whenever I'm at a public place... Like say, a bookstore... I feel fine if there's an adult women near me, or maybe and older man, but if someone 20 or younger is nearby, I get nervous and quickly run off, fearing they'll judge me or somethin... I'm kinda weird. I wear jeans and a black jacket, nothing sytlish or girly at all. >x Also, not sure if other people do this. But... If I see someone I want to talk to whom I don't know, I just.. can't, even if I really want to be their friend... I will sometimes try and write a note to give to them, but I end up not giving it to them out of fear that they'd think I'm weird... So I end up not talking to them, and end up avoiding em... They must think I hate em... Sometimes I imagine Saika or Akiru or one of my other characters going up to them for me, or them tryin to convince me it'll be alright. Also, when I feel sad or stressed, I imagine one of my characters comforting me in some way... I also make up really complex backstories for these characters. Akiru.... Abused as a kid. His dad was 17 and his mom 11 when he and his two sisters were born. (triplets) The mom was really controlling over the kids, dressing them up, as if they were dolls. She was also very sadistic and would take out her anger on the dad. The dad actually went and did things to get her mad just so she would hurt him. He wanted whatever attention he could get from her, since she started completely ignoring him once she had the two kids. Eventually, she kills the dad, right infront of her kkids. She eventually becomes more and more stressed and aggressive. She started to hurt her kids. When they were 11, she set the two girls on fire, but Akiru managed to escape, since he was carrying a knife to cut the rope. He ended up living on the streets for a while. He was a very scared and nervous kid. He ended up stabbing someone who cornered him, and he was sent to an institute type place. He still his rather afraid of people, but puts up a tough facade. He also smokes, cuts, and has eating disorders. Anyways, yeah. That's just a little bit of one of my character's stories. I make really complex ones, and imagine my characters interacting with people around me in my daily life. |

| I'd say it sounds more like Disassociative disorder than avoidancy though. perhaps a mix of the two. | |

| Thats really interesting i have a girl in my english 101 class that is the same way, she cant even stand at the front of the class or talk to anyone. I was watching her one day and i could just tell how uncomfortable she was even being in class even though she doesnt sit next to anyone | |

Yeah, I just made them up. Although it's not like I came up with their story right away. Over time I built onto it, imagining how they'd react to different situations, and thinkin of reasons as to why they'd act a certain way, blah blah blah. xp Saika is an artist. He's shorter then me, black hair. He's generally rather cheerful and whatnot, and loves to joke around with people and can be flirty. xp He has a tendency to fall in love with people kinda easily, which results in a lotta heartache I guess...? Anyways, he hates it when people are sad or down or whatever, and would do whatever he can to help em. He also has a rather mature side and a mature way of thinking, and is open-minded and accepting of a lot of things... xp ramble ramble ramble |

| It seems that you try to hide from reality making up your own characters. Because in real life you don't know how to build up healthy relationships with other people you try to compensate it be some weird personalities who do it in some destructive way. By creating them in the way they are you try to express your hidden emotions because people need to get rid of some negative feelings and you have found your way to do it. The question appears to you are you ready to change anything in your life and work on the real problems you have to change the situation? Or the help you really need now includes only your desribing the problem and some counseling on the matter? | |
