I pressed submit before I was finished so I will finish here. I feel that I am more avoident than all the others even though I have a few traits from all of the ones I got high on but, then again that is just my opinion. I picked avoident over the others because of this point. - Creation of elaborate fantasy lives I have been creating a fantasy life online in parenting forums for almost 3 years now and have never been caught. I can't go a day without talking to people as her but, I have gone days and days without talking to people as me. While on these forums, MY personality shows through her. She has been called a sociopath by other mothers and a lot of people feel that she is not deserving of her children. They fear for her children because of the thing she (I) say. This has just become an everyday thing to me. It is a part of my life. I have no idea how to stop doing this. I have tried multiple times but I just can't stop deceiving people. Her life is so much better than mine. |

| come on - it doesn't have to mean anything - it gives you the impression so this what is important is: do you think you got a problem. And if you do - then try to do something with this. ... well this is theory - if life was so easy... | |

Hello, I've been creating "fantasy lives" as well, but on various forums and games. I've changed my age, my location, my looks, even my gender sometimes, I would lie and lie about my life and basically everything. My personality did change character to character, from sweet to cynical to funny, etc, but my general personality and values remained the same. Now I think it was to get away from the real me. Yea I've been called Psychopath once or twice before, too. One time, I did get caught, but only because my real life acquaintance ratted on me. That made me feel all mixed up and guilty and shamed and angry all at once for a while, and still every time I think of it I get unpleasant emotions. Well to cut this short - I can't help you deal with it cuz I'm still dealing with it, but wanted to say I kind of know how you feel. And don't ever get caught, it messes up your balance between your fantasy self and your real self. and the fantasy self gets soiled forever. sorry I give crappy advice .. |
