Let Go

I thought of this one also while I was drawing a picture... I've been getting a lot of my ideas for poetry like that lately.

Fall away today, let go of everything you once knew,
Let go of all of the pain you’ve ever gone through.
Fall away through the clouds,
Above the up turned eyes of the crowds.
Let go of anything that has ever caused you sorrow,
And never again dream of the morrow.
Wear a smile on your lips,
As the world beneath you slowly dips.
Close your eyes,
You’re now safe from all of their lies,
As you fall through the skies.
That smile will still be there when you hit the ground,
Nothing in your life has ever been so profound.
